ZOOM is a site-specific work for the Office of the Auditor General. The title refers to concentration and focus. The image is made up of circles. These can also symbolize the number zero and point out that accounting auditing is a major function in the OAG. In ZOOM I have used items from op-art. The work has 54 circles where the spectral colors are set against each other at an angle of 45 degrees. Then color hues and breaks occur in a rythmic stream. The spectrum goes the opposite way in the circles, causing interference. This The phenomenon stimulates the eye's movements and creates a mild experience of color vibrations, a pulse.
