The steel tool refers to both the industrial history of the Mo i Rana Steel factory as well as the political history of nearby society. The "Super Tool" icon is also a symbol of the school's handicraft- and profession goals. Placed in the school's stairway makes the people walking the stairs part of the "Super Tool"
